Welcome to the "Raise The Roof For Ralston" Fun Run and Community Day.  This event is hosted by the Ralston Elementary PTA and is designed for competitive runners and recreational runners and walkers of all ages.  Racers begin at the beautiful entrance to Ralston Elementary School and run either through Mt. Vernon Country Club (1K fun run), or through both the Club and nearby Lookout Mountain (5K). Racers can stay after the 5K to enjoy sponsor booths or participate in other activities; participants may also purchase lunch at the school to top-off the event.

The 5K is timed, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals given by grade level (grades pre K/K-6). Additional categories: Teens: grades 7- age 18, adults 19-60; Seniors 60+.

The 1 K fun run is not timed.

8:30 AM Registration Check-in. 
10:00AM - 5K Run/Walk Starts
1K fun runs held every hour starting at 9:00 AM and ending at 1:00 PM. 
Prize Drawings for racers held at 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. 
Activities on school grounds open from 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM.

1K fun runs are not timed.

From Denver, go west on I-70 to exit 254; make a right (north) onto Mt .Vernon Country Club Road. The school is approximately ¼ mile down this road, on the right.

Your Entry Includes a race t-shirt designed by Ralston's own art teacher, Mr. Osmack, and entry in post-race prize drawings.

1 K FUN RUN/WALK: The fun run/walk begins just inside the Mount Vernon Country Club on Mt .Vernon Country Club Road (MVCCR).  Participants will start at the Mt .Vernon Country Club entrance, and run north through the country club along Centennial Trail Road, wrapping through the country club on dirt roads, back to Mt Vernon Country Club Road, finishing at Ralston Elementary .

5K FUN RUN: 5K runners will begin the race at the entrance to the Mount Vernon Country Club, and will travel south, then east along Highway 40, Mount Vernon Canyon Road. Participants will make a left (north) onto South Lookout Mountain Road, entering the Mt .Vernon Country Club. Participants will run through the country club on paved/dirt roads, ending the race at Ralston Elementary School.
