EVENT DESCRIPTION

Grab your furry friend and head to Charlie's Place Animal Shelter in Dumont, Colorado for our 5K fun run to raise awareness and funds for the Shelter and CCMRD's Youth Programming. This is a fast, flat course along beautiful Clear Creek. The Run is primarily on dirt roads with a short stretch on asphalt. This is a great beginner 5K. Many children run this race with their parents and have a great time. Dogs are encouraged but must be on a leash. You can also contact Charlie's Place to arrange to run with one of the shelter dogs. Dogs and cats can be adopted the day of the race.

This is a non-competitive fun run designed to raise funding for the Animal Shelter and CCMRD Youth Programming. We will have a silent auction where participants can bid on items donated from local merchants.
