EVENT DESCRIPTION

The race benefits THE United States Marine Corps Memorial dedicated "to all Marines for all time" to "Honor Marines and remember all who serve". Lives are changed when veterans visit the Memorial - learn more on the web site at USMCMemorialFoundation.org. Funds help maintain what we have until funds can be raised to remodel the memorial.

Those who finish the race receive a collectible dog tag as they cross the finish line from a veteran volunteer!

The Marine Memorial 5K was hosted from 2006 to 2016 by the Women Marines Association CO-1. To honor that heritage, we are awarding whoever brings the most Shirts/Dog Tags from those races a $100 gift card as part of the awards ceremony. So, check your run memorabilia and see if you have something to compete with.

Bananas and oranges available at registration and after the run. The Colorado Tap House (next door) has breakfast burritos and other small breakfast (and all-day) items.  Food trucks will start serving at noon.
